Fundraising, Networking, and Open Source Software Implementation Session with CSOs
Asia Green Hut Organization (AGHO) organized a successful fundraising mentorship session, specifically tailored for representatives of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). This session served as a platform for CSOs to gain valuable insights, strategies, and support in navigating the dynamic landscape of fundraising. Facilitated by experienced mentors, participants engaged in discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at strengthening their fundraising capabilities.
AGHO is committed to empowering CSOs to achieve their fundraising goals and drive meaningful impact within their communities. Participants collaborated, learned, and inspired each other towards greater success in advancing their collective missions.
UN Women Staff Visits AGHO, Applauds Progress of "Civil Society Hub" Project
UN Women staff Anum Aftab and Farishta Rahmani visited AGHO in Kabul on February 20, 2024 reviewing the progress of the project “Civil Society Hub for the Women-Led CSOs”. AGHO Rep Syed Reza Mustafavi presented progress on the 2-year initiative launched June 2023 to expand capacities of women-led CSOs countrywide via tailored training and mentoring. Women heads of beneficiary CSOs attended too. 10 groups already finished intensive 20-day courses on management, advocacy and organizational development – feedback shows magnified capabilities now to support and advocate Afghan women locally. Aftab expressed excitement seeing early effectiveness and UN Women’s continued commitment to enabling the vital civil society ecosystem for gender equality. With solid traction, she indicated interest in potentially coordinating similar CSO capacity building models in more provinces. In the end she thanked the AGHO team for the effectiveness of the project and wished AGHO best of luck in the future endeavors.
Proposal Writing and Fundraising Training
Asia Green Hut Organization (AGHO) organized a comprehensive five-day training on (proposal writing and fundraising) aimed at enhancing the capabilities of ten Women-Led Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Kabul. The training program was aimed to the enhance the participant’s proposal writing and fundraising skills. The adult learning and participatory training methodology helped the participants to bring the concepts and ideas on paper and raise funds from the international and national donors having global outreach. AGHO will keep on supporting Civil Societies in Afghanistan.
Financial Management and Budgeting Training
“The Asia Green Hut Organization (AGHO) conducted an extensive four-day financial and budgeting training tailored to elevate the capacities of 10 Women-Led Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Kabul. This specialized training aimed to enhance the participants’ proficiency in financial management and budgetary planning. Utilizing adult learning methodologies and participatory training approaches, the program empowered participants to translate conceptualizations into concrete financial plans, thereby adeptly sourcing funds from global-reaching international and national donors. The experienced and skilled trainers of AGHO helped tailor, design and implement the training program for maximum proficiency. AGHO doesn’t compromise with standards and always put standards ahead of anything else.
Technical Report Writing Training
The Asia Green Hut Organization (AGHO) recently organized an extensive three-day training initiative with a focus on enhancing Report Writing skills. Tailored specifically to meet the unique needs of 10 Women-Led Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) based in Kabul, this specialized program aimed to elevate participants’ capabilities in Report Writing. Emphasizing proficiency, the training utilized adult learning methodologies and participatory approaches, empowering participants to translate abstract concepts into concrete report. This enabled them to effectively secure funds from both international and national donors with a global reach. AGHO’s experienced trainers played a crucial role in customizing, designing, and implementing the program, ensuring its maximum effectiveness. AGHO maintains a steadfast commitment to standards, consistently placing them at the forefront of its diverse endeavors.

AGHO has organized 4-days Gender and Advocacy Training! Recently concluded, this dynamic program provided participants with the essential tools and strategies to drive meaningful change in the realm of gender equality and advocacy. Led by seasoned experts, each day was filled with engaging sessions, interactive workshops, and valuable discussions, empowering attendees to become effective advocates for social justice.
