Art Competition Ceremony
AGHO team has managed to conduct art contest for 47 artists (23 males and 24 females) during one full day. AGHO invited deputy ministry of information and culture, directorate of MOEC and other CSO’s during opening art competition ceremony. Famous TV channels were invited such as Tolo News, BBC Persian News to broadcast the program and it was a successful project implementation for AGHO and family of CSO’s to bring de-facto government authorities under one roof to watch the art competition and visit museum while male and female were together performing.
- Topic of the art competition has been chosen by jury “Women in Society “.
- The type of art was chosen as conceptual art.
- Evaluation criteria has been agreed by the jury and the AGHO’s team insights to judge the created paints.
- From total 47 contestant only 15 painting were able to participate for the competition and the remaining paints were not original.

International Women’s day is a global celebration that highlights the achievement of women championing economic, cultural, political, and social causes worldwide. On this occasion, AGHO celebrated 8th march 2023 by gathering Afghan girls picturing the situation of women in Afghanistan.
Afghan Women Celebrate International Women's Day Through Art
AGHO wishes a Happy International Women’s Day to all! Asia Green Hut Organization (AGHO) is thrilled to share the success of our International Women’s Day celebration by hosting an art exhibition on 6th and 7th March at the UNDP Garden, UNOCA Compound featuring the work of 25 talented Afghan female artists, showcasing 100 breathtaking paintings in a joint effort by AGHO and UNDP. Despite the challenges faced by women in Afghanistan, the exhibition highlighted their talent and resilience, showcasing their creativity and determination.
The exhibition was attended by influential women, including Miss surayo buzurukova (country director – UNDP), who praised AGHO for organizing such a remarkable event and also wished the women of Afghanistan a happy women’s day. Their presence added to the diverse and vibrant atmosphere, alongside other influential guests. The exhibition not only celebrated the artistic achievements of Afghan women but also provided a platform for them to express themselves and share their stories with the world.
We are incredibly proud of the success of the exhibition and grateful to everyone who attended and supported this event. Your presence and appreciation have not only uplifted these talented artists but have also highlighted the importance of empowering women in Afghanistan and beyond.
